I have a 95 Chevy Silverado TBI with an automatic transmission that I was to do an engine rebuild. This truck is mainly used on the highway to and from work but I frequently take it offroading every chance I get. I currently get 22-23 MPG and I would like to maintain my gas mileage or possibly improve it. I want to increase the power and torque through out the ranges. I have looked into doing a 96-98 vortec head swap with the adapter intake though Im not sure of a good cam, and if this is my best option in terms of gains/ MPG. Any recommendions would be appreciated. I will also be upgrading my full exhaust system and adding a CAI. I also want to swap out my 10 bolt with a SF 6-lug 14 bolt (thinking 3.73's but thats still up to question)
