could ge a pair of 91 vete heads for $350 first of would they fit on my tbi motor and would they really improve my hp i expect they should since there gonna be better flowing then the stock lo3 heads

 

Not sure if its worth it with the stock cam and exhaust, but with a better cam and better exhaust, should be a lot more fun then the LO3.

Fueling and tuning will be mandatory, also if I remember correct the 2 center intake bolts are at 90° instead of 72°, wich would require grinding the intake manifold.

Stock EGR will not work with those heads, not sure if they could pass emissions.

There are some folks using them, and detailed information has been posted too, try a search with 113 heads, vette heads or L98 aluminium heads.

 

They will fit, i currently run them. you can pass emissions with them too but it will require tuning as the egr system will not work with those heads.

 

I run the ZZ4 heads with a little port work done and I like them. I plan on getting another set off of ebay to do some real heavy port work to to have on the side for another 305 project I have planned.

 

I ran 113 heads on my TPI 305 and I LOVED it. You may not believe this claim but it's been verified by many on here, but that head swap with a good cam and exhaust will gain in the neighborhood of 70hp over stock. With the same cam and exhaust and only a head swap I went from 14.8@93mph to 13.7@101mph
