TBI 5.0 Problem

Hey guys, so I have owned my 92 RS for two years now and have been trying to figure out this problem but need some help. So right now I haven't been able to get better than 14 mpg. I have replaced every single sensor on the car, I have checked the compression and it is good. I have good fuel pressure and the injectors seem to be shooting okay except for a little post nasal drip. Could the injectors be causing that bad of gas mileage, or is there anything else that could cause it? Thanks alot

Do you smell gas in the tank area or anywhere else? I get poor mpg too and smell gas. For me, there is most likely a crack somewhere(prob in the filler neck, but no drips)

Re: TBI 5.0 Problem

the car is running good? complete tuneup? wheres the timing at? exhaust restriction is possible but usually you'll feel a lack of power. the transmission working properly? car moving well on its own power transmission slip at all? what kind of rear gearing does the car have?
