You can put the carb on the 350.
Or, get TBI stuff from a 3rd gen member. They are taking them apart all the time. Get a 350 TBI (or injectors) and chip, should be fine.
The TBI forum may be a better place to inquire. Moving there.

Re: cfi to tbi
Well put the motor in the car and use a tbi wiring harness and ECM and put her in. Did you get all that with the motor too?

Re: cfi to tbi
i havent bought the motor yet but wouldnt the harness connectors be different? it wouldnt be direct connection to the dash harness... if it is direct fit awesome but i dont think it would be that simple....id like to keep this fuel injected...fyi

Re: cfi to tbi
as long as you can trace and splice wires and do minor
fabrication, the TBI swap will be easy-especially since the
car had CFI before as suitable fuel lines,VSS and other
parts are in place already.'88-89 camaro TBI harness
might be really close to direct swap,90-92 likely a little
different but probably suitable.1987-early '90s pickup
truck TBI the simplest wiring and those trucks a source
for 350 TBI chips. When i swapped a corvette 350 CFI
into my z28,i was able to remove all of the A.I.R. smog
equipment but i did keep the EGR and canister purge
active.

Re: cfi to tbi
I'm new here but been on the vette sites a couple years, I swapped my 84 vette from cfi to tbi about 10 yrs ago. You can use the cfi wiring harness to run the tbi. Make sure the tbi unit thats on the engine is an 87-89, as the tps sensor was different on 90 up models. My throttle/tv/cruise control cables hooked up fairly easily. Use the newer style coolant temp sensor as the ones on cfi are troublesome, just wire a connector to the harness. I also installed a dummy iac & housing because it seemed to idle better w/ 2 iacs hooked up, even though only one was controling airflow. Back then they didn't have those renegades, so this was my solution for a better flowing intake.
