TBI/VATS/Injector question #230195

OK.....TBI 305 in an 89 Camaro, been sitting a while, gas tank was rust city, replaced with LS1 tank.

I know i have spark, because i can pour gas in the TB and it will crank. I have gas going up to the injectors, but they dont pulse.

So the big question is: Do I look at the injectors, or the VATS? Also, about the "noid" light to test the injectors......do I just go to Autozone and ask for a "noid" light, or does it have an official name?
Also also, if it is the VATS, can i just read the resistance off of the pellet and wire in the appropriate resistor?
On a previous Camaro, I grounded out the injector wire and solved this problem, but it didnt work this time.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that PO removed the throttle position sensor for some unknown reason........would the ecm disable the injectors if it didnt see a signal from the TPS?

Anyone?

Re: TBI/VATS/Injector question #230195

Im not 100% on this but you have to have the tps on there or it wont run, i remeber too that they have to set at and exact voltage to run properly, I'd put a tps on there and it will probably run, the ecm needs to know were the throttle is. try that first.

Problem solved....i replaced a blown fuse to the #2 injector and tapped them with a wrench. Fired right up, even without the tps.
