Re: Injector Bias

I have never seen that posted just recomendations I recall. I presume you searched "injector bias".

I think there was a recent post that FIC Injectors responded to with there observations. May have been port fueling. They may have those #'s available to you.

Re: Injector Bias

Yes, I have done some searching. I have been using 274usec for the bias since that is what I had found used in most of the 454 tbi ecms. However, some recent test/scan data that I have been looking at seems to indicate this is not the correct bias for my setup.

I am not sure whether it is simply the wrong value or if my increased fuel pressure is having an effect. I am at 16 psi.

Does fuel pressure effect the injector bias? If so, is there a fixed relationship that can be used to calculate the bias based on the increased fuel pressure?

Re: Injector Bias

good Q. I am with 80 lbs at 20 lbs. I dont have my lappy here office so dont know what I did 3 years ago. I am sure FP affects timing of injs. Stock EBL.bin 305cid had the 55 lbs inj at 12 lbs. I believe the bias was increased for my need. Not sure what I did.

See intro to tuning part 2 and stickies above for reference.
