are there ant good intake manifolds with egr out there all the ones i find dont have the egr and i just bought new hooker headers with egr so i would like an intake with one so its not a waste to spend that extra on the headers

Re: egr intake?

What might be your criteria of a "good" intake manifold?

EGR is not part of the exhaust system on these cars and has nothing to do with headers.
The air tubes on the headers are part of the AIR system (air pump).

Re: egr intake?

ok so if i get an intake without egr will i still use the things on the headers or will the not be needed ? i was told that i needed the egr to pass inspection and that the car would not run right without the egr is that true?

and by good i mean something that will improve the motors performance i plan on racing the car at my local road track later in the year.

Re: egr intake?

Does your car have to pass emission tests?
