idle

i just bought this firebird as a project about a month ago and when i start it, it idles super low around 400 and stalls.
while i was doing the cam i cleaned all the intake passages, checked the egr and cleaned the iac.
any thoughts?

ok i fixed the idle but now this sob runs really rich, ugh can't win

Make sure the manifold vacuum is good, over 16" (18-21") at the map sensor. Check the coolant temp sensor & connector, do a resistance test to the cts. It changes resistance w/ temp. Check the ecm grounds & look for vacuum leaks.

just got learned on the esc, so let me get this right....uplug the esc, adjust timing,plug it back in and disconnect battery?
won't it just reset it?
