350 Tbi issues
My truck is acting weird,
the old owner had a performer intake and marine carb on the truck. Needless to say i put the stock throttle body back on, and now the truck is running pretty rough. It takes forever to start which it never did with the carb. when you hit the brakes. It cuts out the motor, I checked for vacuum leaks and none appeared. if you hook up the map sensor it starts hunting then stalls. also we discovered a fuel leak under the truck on one of the lines. Timing is set at 0, Has new IAC valve.
I am not sure but their doesnt seem to be a ground strap from the engine to the body. however their is one from the block to the battery
i am totally stumped as what can be causing all this
any sugestions or ideas would be great

I know its a truck but its all the same as a camaro, and all the people on my truck fourms are stumped. Figured id post here too

Re: 350 Tbi issues
their should be a ecm ground on the passenger side right near the starter.dont you have to change the fuel pump back to electric for EFI?and the dis?

Re: 350 Tbi issues
Make sure the egr valve isn't stuck open, it wont idle very good & start hard if it is.
Verify that fuel pressue is 9 to 13 psi. The pressure should build up fast.
Double check your rotor postion, maybe a tooth off. Is the cap, rotor, wire set, ect in good shape? Is the map hooked to the right port?
What kind of vacuum is the engine making? Make sure the timing advances when you rev it. Find the ground terminals at the ecm connector,do a continuity test between the connector & ground.
Is the tps adjustable? If it is, then doube check the voltage. If your in doubt about a ground wire, then add an extra one.
