please help me please

ok i have a 1988 firebird formula 305 tbi i am putting in a 1989 350 t\bi out of a 89 3/4 ton truck this is a stock motor with a fue upgrades there are heads milled 30 thou new 110 valve springs new lifters and cam comp cam # k12-256-4 hydraulic flat tappet rpm range 1200-5200 intake at 050 lift is 212 exhaust at 218 intake duration at 256 exhaust at 268 rocker arm is 0.456 in. exh .456 lope sep is 112 degrees headmen headers with y pipe and a b&m shift inprover and putting in a 9 bolt 3.27 posi rearend i need help with the ecm &.chip. i have the 350 tbi unit and sencers and injectors can i get rid of the air pump and plumbing the charcal can and crap ive heard to use a caprice tbi ecm with a cop car chip were do i get one are is this rong help me with the ecm. chip. & stuff please give me the # of what to buy and were to get them o and i dont see the o2 on the exhaust does 88 have one. to many people with dif answers i think you will have the best. quick im pulling my hair out o and what a good exhaust to use ypipe back

The stock 02 sensor is bolted in the drivers side exhaust manifold, with headers it is in the same location usually a little lower, this is were a heated 02 sensor is preferable.

Vapor canister is a usful fuel vapor catching device, purpose is to use the fuel to fuel the engine instead of evaporating/wasting it in the atmosfere.
Going by the description, the engine will work wery well as a DD too, another reson to keep the vapor canister functional.

Tune, either learn and DIY or pay for a coustom tune.

Isn't the 1989 350 a roller block? Why a flat tappet cam - don't you need a roller cam?
