help with a new cam please
i have a 1988 firebird. block # is 10054727 heads # are 14102193 od trans and a 3.27 9 bolt rear end what is the biggest cam i can go with and still keep my tbi and what a good chip to buy thank for your help

For something specific like that you need to pick what brand you want and call them for advice. Comp cams, Edelbrock, whatever just pick one and call them. Its one of the many things they do to earn our business.

I would check if the block is machined for a roller cam and go from there.
