i was going to change and make l05 into a roller due to flat tap is not that good in the long run if you drive often it wears out quicker due to more friction

To make the intended power range it will require better valve springs and some work to the heads for a little increased lift. You may consider some flat tappet cams since you have the L05.

I just used a cam file I had already sitting around. It appears to be 110. Not sure if that is correct or not.

In case you have not came across this tread https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/...i-buildup.html it has good information, including max lift with the vortec heads.

I would also suggest to play with camquest6 http://www.camquest.com/, skip the flat tapped cams.

This is the first to do list before buying anything

edit: add this to the list http://www.kb-silvolite.com/calc.php?action=comp since you are looking for pistons and head gaskets.
