IM LOOKING TO RUN NITROUS ON A TBI 350 ONLY LOOKING FOR 50 SHOT MAYBE A 75 TOPS BUT I KNOW YOU HAVE TO RETARD TIMING FOR EVERY 50 SHOT OR SO BUT THAT KINDS OF HURTS PERFORMANCE WHEN DRIVING REGULARLY I JUST WANTED TO USE IT AT DRAG STRIP USING 91 OCTANE FUEL WOULD THAT HELP ME NOT HAVE TO RETARD TIMING 1 MAYBE 2 DEGREES IM NOT GOING TO RUN NO MORE THAN 75 SHOT SO NOTHING CRAZY BUT I ALSO WANT TO RUN IT SAFELY SO I DONT GET DETONATION AND BLOW A GASKET OR BURN A PLUG I KNOW 91 OCTANE WOULD HELP SOMEWHAT

IF I WAS TO RUN OVER 100+ THEN I WOULD HAVE TO RETARD TIME BUT IM RUNNING A LOW AMOUNT WOULD THAT BLOW GASKET OR BURN PLUGS OR CREATE DETONATION WITH THE AMOUNT OF NOSE IM RUNNING

 

tHIS IS MY SETUP

Rebuilt 350 l05
Rebuilt Transsmission rebuilt with a shift kit
Change all fluids to synthetic
3in exhuast with Flowmasters single in dual out
Heads where ported and polish and gasketmatch
Tbi was bored to 49 shaved butterfly shaft and removed the lip on top
Tbi rebuilt except injectors using injector spacer to raise height of injectors
And tbi spacer from cfm tech
Using stock intake bored to 49 mm intake gasket match
Planning on Modding fuel reg so it can be adjustable
And tbichips.com made a hot chip stage one took out old prom lol
Haven't dyno yet but not expecting much due to crappy heads cam intake

 

I'm no expert on nitrous but I believe that you can run a 50-75 shot with out messing with much. after that I believe you have to run a colder plug, higher octane fuel and retard the timing 4-5 degrees for every 50 shot. Like I said I don't know for sure but I believe thats what it is.

 

so dont use the nitrous when driving regularly. When you go to the strip back off the timing a little bit, then put timing back in when you leave. not that hard to do.
