350 tbi new distributor
350 tbi new distributor
I have a 5.7 tbi i just bought a mallory breakerless distributor. It says i may need a ballast resistor. Its stock 1990 tbi will i be ok to bypass my old distributor wires and just hook up the mallory ones??(red brown green)Also does any one know how many ohms my coil would be?? it need to be 1.4 if im not to use a ballast resistor? Thanks in advance for any info

You purchased the wrong distributor. I think accel (which I dont like),summit brand, and msd make the correct distributor for the car to be used as a stock replacement. although a distributor swap wont really net you anything but if you want it, then by all means change it.

Worked for supershops way back people would bring those back in all the time !!! are you converting to carb or something ?
