TBI WTF?

Ok so I have a 92' RS 25th Anniv. 5.0 305. Im going to do a swap soon to convert to edelbrock rpm performer intake manifold and 650 DP. But till then I am having issues with it having bad throttle response and it even flooded a few times while driving. Some of it may be O2 related but can carbon buildup cause it to stick the valves? and if so whats the best way to clean cause I use ATF misted and then scrub and wipe. will it affect anything if I dont take it off when i do?

Re: TBI WTF?

a lot of components to fail. park the car. then do your swap. if you dont want tbi that is. other than that why waste money into stuff you dont want. park it, save up.

Re: TBI WTF?

Well im waiting for taxes so I can get my wife her own car and putting the beast down for a week. I tweaked the fast idle screw back so she idles 575RPMs and cleaned the jets out of it and everythings peachy. Now time to gravity bleed again DAMN AIR BUBBLES
