vacuum hoses and heater issue
vacuum hoses and heater issue
92 camaro RS 305 v8 tbi 5speed..
Sorry if this is a little jumbled but i could definitely use a little help.
Currently my issue stands with reconnecting all the small vacuum hoses from the tbi and (gooseneck) on the intake manifold as well as getting heater to work again...
i just recently replaced a thermostat, radiator hoses, battery, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and intake manifold gasket. Had to adjust the distributor to idle at about 7000rpms at running temp. (assuming this is part of my problem considering some of the vacuum hoses were dry rotted and disconnected) I'm sure there are some hoses incorrectly placed but most of the diagrams were spotty at best.
i found diagrams for most of the hoses except wherever the intake manifold "gooseneck" is suppose to attach. and still have a dry rotted hose to the emissions canister.
After the "adjustments" the car ran almost perfect (in 30 degree weather). Now occasionally the car will "bog down" for a second or two before actually accellerating if you push around 1500 rpms. Also, the heater was never great to start with but now, after all the replacements, blows completely cold.
i would greatly appreciate any information or legible diagrams provided.
again, apologies if this is a little confusing
thanks
