Yea its going in the caprice.Just picked up a new performer today part #2104.My adapter plate will be here tomorrow.

No it won't....I ran a victor Jr 2bbl vortec intake in a 5,300 lbs G-van, pulling around a 5,000+ lbs trailer at times. Had all the low-end torque you could want and I had 3.08 gears and the stock 1,600 rpm converter in it at the time.
