tbi on carb intake now high idel
Just put a edlebrock EPs performer with the transdapt adapter got it all back together now it has a high idel any ideas

spray brake clean around the bottom of the tbi and adaptor. and also around the intake to see if you have a leak.

and once you get it sorted out lemme know how it runs. also how much higher does it sit now.

is it throwing any codes? sounds as though the tbi or adaptor have a vacuum leak. or an intake gasket is leaking. or you have a vacuum line off somewhere.

No codes its old style intake that was converted to new style center bolts its got a bad sucking sound but doesn't change idel with Carb cleaner

a bad sucking sound is a leak. check the iac as well and make it is working.

The bolts for the tbi were a little to long tore the gasket and there is the leak

cool that you found it. now get if fixed and enjoy it. hey how much higher does the air cleaner sit now with that combo. does it still fit under a stock hood.
