305 won't run right video inside
I've been having problems with my firebird. It all started after letting it sit all winter. My first week driving it to work (roughly 80 miles a day) I noticed it being a bit sluggish when it warmed up and I got bad gas mileage ( i use to average over 25 mpg) so i figured it was time for a tune-up cuz I had no idea when it had been done last. I replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap and rotor, o2 sensor and fuel and air filter along with an oil change. The next time i took it to work it started running rough. When I tried paasing it would start to shudder and sound like it was gonna stall. Now the car won't stay running unless I keep the throttle floored and even then it won't go above 800 rpms.
Things ive replaced: ICM and fuel pressure regulator neither helped.
I can hear the fuel pump turn on when i turn the key on. I checked fuel pressure and got 13 psi which I read is within the correct range for a tbi. The only code it throws is 45 but that was before the tuneup and it doesn't throw it anymore. Also 12 but I know that its suppose to throw that one. I can see the injectors squirting gas so they must be pulsing. I don't no where to go from here so I'm hoping you guys can help.
heres a video of me trying to start it. Idk if you can tell but the only time it starts is when i open the throttle all the way and even when it starts it barely stays running unless i keep it floored.
sorry for the long post but this problem is getting frustrating

just because you hear your fuel pump buzz and prime the lines doesn't necessarily mean its providing enough fuel for your injectors.this looks like an old post..but im just going to throw it out there

Could something have crawled into your exhaust?
Had a clogged cat that caused symptoms of this.
I would double check your wires and make sure there in the proper order and that the cap is sitting flush!
Spark plug gap should be 0.045
More problems after you changed something, gotta love it!

Thanks rough
it was indeed a clogged cat. I would never have thought of that because i didnt know a clogged cat could make the car run so poorly.
