submersable R30J10 fuel hose

I purchased six inches of R30J10 submersable hose online.

I got it pretty fast and it is injection hose with no markings or ratings on it, only a straight pink line all the way down the side.

I suppose there could be sections without wording at all, but should I trust that it is submersable? I was hoping to get that tank back in there this weekend and it seems I can't get an answer from them until normal business hours which mean I would have to wait another week to get it in.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I wouldn't trust it. I just went to a local O O O O' Reillys and ordered 1 foot, and it came fully marked as R30J10 hose. The risk is just not worth it IMO.

The hose that came with my fuel pump had unmarked black hose with a pink line FWIW.

Just incase anyone else ever runs in to this, this was the response given from the company I purchased it from:

The only 6" fuel line we sell is walbro submersible line, they come precut from walbro and due to the length some pieces come with the numbers stamped on them and some do not.

What's the difference between R30J10 submersible hose, and SAE 30R10 submersible hose?

My typo. J30R10 is the SAE rating i believe, occasionally there is no J out front, not sure of the difference.

Re: submersable R30J10 fuel hose

I ordered the same hose from a seller on ebay & once I got it in the mail today I thought the exact same thing. I don't trust it without the markings on it. Did anyone else use this hose or find out that it was the real deal?

With all of the knockoff parts coming from overseas I wouldn't trust something if I couldn't guarantee what it really was. I'd buy the branded stuff from a parts store.
