Extending fuel hoses at TBI end
Swapping from OEM intake manifold to a GMPP intake manifold that is set up for Holley/Q-jet flange, with a big-block Q-jet-flange-to-TBI-flange spacer/adapter. The manifold will be taller, plus another inch-or-so for the adapter.
Curious if there's a simple solution to the problem of short fuel hoses due to relocating the TBI on a taller manifold + flange adapter. The hoses are not overly long with the TBI in the stock location. I may be able to reposition the OEM hoses, pull some slack forward--but I'm not sure about that. Kinda expecting to make some sort of steel-tubing extensions. I have equipment to form the ribs in fuel tubing to suit GM specs. My mental image is to pick up a pair of fittings that screw into the TBI unit, braze ~5" of steel tube to them, and then use a tube nut and GM-style rib to secure the other end into the existing fittings on the TBI.
Would also be interested in finding out how others have resolved keeping the TV cable (TH700R4 trans) geometry correct. I'm aware that I may need to install a longer TV cable.
Hood clearance ('88 K1500) may be a little short, but I'll find some way to deal with that. A shorter spacer between TBI and air cleaner may work, or perhaps I'll have to get more creative.

I cut fuel lines at AC compressor and I used AeroQ compression fittings to push fit EFI lines to AeroQ AN fittings and pipe thread. A local supplier of Aero Q had all I needed.
