new injectors now car wont idle!!
new injectors now car wont idle!!
I just changed both injectors with stock replacements and when I started the car aftetwards it was really rough and would just die if I didnt gas it up, does anyone know whats wrong? Feels like it needs the mknimum idle speed reset or something...thanks
Re: new injectors now car wont idle!!
What was wrong with the original injectors?
Maybe the computer needs to re-learn the fuel curve? Re-setting the short- and long-term fuel compensation might be a start.
Are the new injectors firing properly? Maybe one or both are defective.

Re: new injectors now car wont idle!!
Well now that ive gotten more into it im fairly certain that its flooding because the iac is stuck shut and the cars getting no air. Now when the car is idling and I shine a flashlight in the iac port and revv it up should I be able to see the pintle moving in and out??? Because right now the pintle doesnt move at all even if I revv it up, that means its stuck shut right????

You can try to clean the IAC. It's possible that it is just gunked up. The procedure can be seen here https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/v6/1...ac-system.html
If that doesn't work, you can buy a new one. They're a relatively cheap part. As a band aid fix, you can adjust the throttle blades so that they are open a bit more at idle.
If none of this helps a bad CTS could cause flooding.
Also, posts like your last aren't going to get you many helpful responses...
