Main ? Is what is The point of the checkered pattern in the bottom of the
Dual plane and factory intakes ? I'm thinking about removing this ? I already removed the center divider . And am working on shortening all of the short side radius and knife edging the runner seperations .. Any tips/tricks/suggestions would be apretiated

Too late on the waffleing :-/ .. i removed it closest to the runners and around the divider I'm just gonna leave that part textured from the deburr bit .. What is the purpose of it ? Ill post some pics here .. I haven't removed alot of material just been smoothing out the rough Chinese casting .. This is a summit stage 1 intake (idle -6000)

The rough texture helps carbs atomize the fuel mixture better. You'll be ok w/ the tbi.

I'm nowhere near done on this intake .. N like I said I really haven't removed any material just been slightly smoothing everything out

 

I cut the divider down because its TBI ans so both banks can be fed air from Both throttle body bores

 

No comments ? Ill admit Idk what I'm Doin lol .. First intake I've attempted to port .. Only thing I've done port Work to is 3/5&7 HP Briggs&stratton flatheads .. I had a 5hp I built that made 12hp @ 11k rpm At 12 years old .. And stayed together for about a year racing dirt track .. And ran 71mph in 1/8th mile haha .. Been wanting to build another one just for the heck of it

 

Anyone got a fel pro intake manifold gasket # for these TBI heads that would work well ? I want good gaskets not cheapo .. Heads will be Milled .010-.015
