TBI Vacuum Line Disconnected

Hello everyone , I just bought a 91 Camaro RS V8 305 5.0 and now that I have it in the garage I noticed that the vacuum line that's suppose to connect from the TBI to the vapor canistor isn't even there. I know I can easily buy a new line but my question is , what are the consequences or even reason for removing this line? Thanks everyone

HI vela21975, welcome to the best forums for 3rd gen info. I am going to move your thread to the TBI board here. Much better answers for your thread.

Myself, I like charcoal canister purge systems (CCP). They save on fuel as they store it and burn it later when the vehicle is being driven. And, they prevent the escape of raw fuel vapors that stink up the car and surrounding area.

RBob.
