LO3 High Idle

Hey guys, I am new to the forum and I need a little help. I have a 92 RS with a 305 TBI and it was suffering from a crazy rich at idle problem. I checked the injectors and they seem to be firing okay. So, last night I installed an injector reconditioning kit along with a new IAC and Air Charge Temp Sensor as well. After re-installing the TBI unit, I went for a test drive. That seemed to have fixed the rich problem but now I have a high idle problem. It only occurs after I have been cruising and I take the car out of gear to come to a stop. The RPMs go to +/- 2500 then settle down to 1500. I have to leave the car sitting for a minute or more before the RPMs settle down to 750 again. Any thoughts?

i would check for a vacum leakor maybe sounds like the throttle plate is sticking i had the same problem adjust the idle screw untill i just hits the plate and turn it a half turn more

How did you overcome the sticking throttle plate?
