Is this a good cam for a 305 tbi stock engine accept air filter and exhaust. Does anyone have a link to a mild cam I could run? Also would I need to change anything else out... I'm looking for a cam that I can throw in without having to change anything else and I'm new on this subject lol any help is appreciated

That would be a decent upgrade vs the stock cam,but,w/o exhaust & fuel upgrades prior, you'll be shootin yourself in the foot. You will also need tuning to realize any potential from the cam swap. The money would be better spent upgrading the exhaust 1st.

Take a look at the sticky for the LT1 cam. This would be a good upgrade for a pretty much stock 305. Often you can find a used LT1 cam here or on ebay for cheap.
