Sensor of some sort? I've never found anything like it on TBI trucks...

Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor. Trucks didn't get them. Should be clipped into the air cleaner to measure/report the incoming air temperature to the ECM.

I imagine factory air cleaner?

Kid I bought this car off of put an open element on it. Doubtful They make a third gen specific air cleaner to mount it on.

Thank you BTW

if it is the off the shelf Edelbrock chrome one there is a knock out spot on the base where the sensor should mount
