leaking fuel from evap can after new fuel oump

So this my 1st go at this tread thing. So here's my problem awhile back my fuel pump decided to take a permanent rest. Did the whole replacement thing which took my the whole weekend ( 1st time doing it, don't judge). Got it done started right up, next day got it smoged (it was overdue) passed drove it back and forth no problems what so ever. Next day was gonna go get it an alignment done got within 4 blocks stalls on me just dies no warning managed to get it home. Get home to find it leaking fuel from the evap can on the front driver side. I read it could be I swapped 2 vent line went under the car swapped them but it still spilling fuel from the same place if anyone has any clue as to what I should do please let me know. I'm dreading the idea of having to lower that demon sac called a fuel tank. Thanks in advance
P.S it's an 89 camaro tbi 305 the pump was a jegs 255

Pull the lines at the cannister. have someone start it and while you're holding the lines, make sure no fuel is running out of either...like under a bit of pressure...could be you swapped a cannister like with the return line...you want someone in the car to be able to shut it off quickly "just in case".

That said, it's also possible the cannister just filled with fuel...overly filled tank, hot day, etc...seen it before when the purge solenoid is not working correctly.

I swapped the vent lines after I noticed the fuel leaked from the can. And notice the 2 lines were different sizes and thought to myself how did I miss that but I'll try it out this weekend been having to much stuff come up hopefullybthat fixes it

Problem with evap can fixed but engine still dies. Doesn't stumble, stall just dies I've changed fuel pump (original problem) rebuilt the tbi unit, new fuel filter, injectors spray pattern is normal don't know what else to do
