92 305 tbi flashing ses light and cutting out
This is my first post here so i hope someone can help, I have a 92 rs with the 305 tbi and while driving it will randomly flash the ses light and when it does the car feels like it cuts out for a split second. I am getting a 23 code but that is from my open element air cleaner but it ran just fine for over a year with it on before this started happening. i have checked and made sure all the other sensors were connected. the only other thing that concerns me is when i had my scanner hooked up to the car and went and drove it it flashed some code that said something about ecm fault but since the light just flashes on and off i only got a quick look at it so i dont know the number. Please help!!!

This may not be easy to track down. The first place to start is with the battery cable connections. Make sure that they are tight at both ends.
Check the EFI harness grounds on the backs of the cylinder heads. When they come loose all sorts of strange issues occur.
With the engine running see what happens when the ECM harness connectors are wiggled.
RBob.

Are you using a REAL scan tool, or some crappy code-reader?

x2 check your grounds.
There is usually a ground strap on the passenger side head near the firewall. If it is missing make a new one.
