performer tbi intake vs stock
performer tbi intake vs stock
So I was given an older performer tbi intake tonight. Engine is a stone stock 89 truck tbi 350, ultimate tbi mods, big air cleaner, mildly ported 327 chevelle exhaust manifolds, and dual 2.5 exhaust.
I already have a nicely detailed, clean, freshly painted stock truckintake ready to bolt on when the heads ccome back from the machine shop. Any reason to change to the edelbrock for my application?
Rest of the combo is stocks converter 700r4, 3.42 gears, and 64 elcamino body.
Im half tempted to put the intake on craigslist and make money. Also tempted to port the **** out of it over wunter abd see what it will do differently than the stock one.

Re: performer tbi intake vs stock
Mine required a drill/tap solution for a bracket mounting. The performer didn't have it stock.
Great intake for a mild combo
