anyone have a carb and hei for a 305 that they would want to trade for a tbi in the dallas area?

You won't pass inspection if you go to a carb.

2) As a board leader, fast355's responses should always be taken seriously.
That being said, I've been apprised that here in TX, vehicles 25+ yr's old,
are not subjected to a sniffer emissions test, just the safety inspection.
And since mine is a 90, I'm hoping that's truly the case.

Emissions are still part of the visual inspection if you find an inspector that actually does his job correctly.

No sniffer test but a visual that any emission equipment is still there is all Texas state requires on 25+ years old. That's straight from the TXDOT web site. A City my have an ordinance but do your inspection outside of city limits. Hope that helps
