Intake manifold upgrade worth it?

I have a completely stock 350 SBC at the moment. Currently I don't have a lot of money to spend on parts, and I have to replace my brake booster and TPS. I was contemplating on upgrading my intake manifold, but unsure if the upgrade would even be worth the money. I was looking at the Summit carb manifolds since the TBI are so expensive. I know I'll need to shell out extra for the adapter, but really can't find any information on any gains from upgrading the stock manifold.

If you have a truck engine I don't think an intake alone is going to get you much bang for your buck, the cam is shitty for a car & the heads are shitty period. You really want to replace the heads, cam & intake at the same time so they all match.

Honestly you won't gain much with just an intake swap. If you are keeping the stock swirls then just try to find a used RPM intake with an adapter.

I had a very noticeable power gain with both a Performer RPM and Weiland 7525 when I had a nearly stock 1-ton 350 long block. Stock heads/Stock cam/ 1.6:1 full roller rockers and Doug Thornley Tri-Y headers.

Heads are NOT the problem. Far bigger restrictions in other places.
