18psi spring too much?

I put a higher pressure caprice cop car fuel pump in my truck, and am wondering if 18psi spring would be overkill, and crappy running? I have a cfm tech tb spacer, and injector spacer. I also have the salad bowl(not rigged up just dropped down in there), I replaced the intake pipes with higher flowing stuff, and exhaust. I will have a chip whenever the guy finally sends the freaking thing. I already bought the 18psi spring, but I'm thinking I may be better off with a 14psi spring.

Does the engine run lean at WFO/max RPM with the 14 psi spring? If not, the 18 psi spring is unlikely to do anything useful.

It's got the stock spring in it, and it does seem to run lean.
