Hello, I bought a 91 RS parts car. My plan is to use the entire dash and complete wiring harness in my 86 iroc. I have the dash unhooked and everything ready t come out except the main wire loom that runs through the firewall above the steering column. I can't figure out how that thing disconnects. I've tried the clips at the end under the hood but I feel like there's something else holding it. Can anyone help?

Btw the parts car was a 305 TBI And my Iroc has been converted to carb and the wires under the hood and under the dash are completely hacked up with twisted together black taped connections. So this will most likely save me from burning this thing to the ground at some point.

THere is a bolts right in the middle that holds the dash side to the underhood side. Unfortunately, I don't remember for sure, but I think the bolt heads is from the interior side.

Thanks. Maybe I should have looked at that before I unhooked the dash. I guess I'll have to try to get underneath that mess today after work.
