91 Tbi misfire and overheat. help
alright, so i have a 91 RS with an L03 305. i think i may be burning coolant, as per the usual signs. empty radiator, white smoke, sweet exhaust smell. have not been able to check the spark plugs to see if they have the cleaned look. so im pretty sure its burning coolant. problem was, i didn't know this when she came out of the garage for the first time in 2 years. so, the second day out driving in the florida heat, she overheated. got it sorted out. got her home. threw more coolant in it, took it to work. the drive home was alright, its only perhaps a 10 minute drive. so that went alright.
the next morning, again maybe 65-70 degrees. drove to school alright. nothing out of the ordinary. the ride home, however, is a different story. lots of traffic. plus the florida heat. didnt mix. coolant temp only got a hair above 220, but it stared to cut out while taking off from stop lights. at one point, some genius came to a dead stop from about 50, and i had to as well.
after the car came to a complete stop, it died. got it started and thats when it came up just passed 20, and started feeling funny. loss of power, started sounding different. yeah, not pleasant. again, got it home, and my dad took a look at it while i headed to work. didnt want to risk overheating again on the way there, so i got a lift from my buddy.
not sure what my dad did, but apparently he thinks itll be alright. he brought it to me at work so i could take it home. but i noticed it started misfiring. and, i have absolutly no clue why.

Pressure test cooling system
Leakdown- and compression-test on all eight cylinders.
Verify fuel pressure
Verify all ignition parts are in usable condition.
Verify short- and long-term fuel trim
Verify O2 sensor crosscounts (likely poisoned if it's been exposed to coolant steam.
Verify various sensor data including but not limited to knock sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor, MAP sensor, etc.
