no start

Car: 1990 RS, 2002 Chev Silverado
Engine: 305
no start
Changed fuel pump and new one primes good. Still no start. With starting fluid car does want to start. Wondering what could be problem? Will change fuel filter tomorrow.

What is the fuel pressure?
Define "want to start". Does it run or not?
Doesn't run on starting fluid = no spark.
Any fuel spray from injectors?
1. Injectors not getting power
2. ECM not supplying ground to injectors
No spark, no fuel but injectors have power = probably a defective pickup coil and/or ignition module.
Good idea.
