I don't know about the number of ponies that you will gain, but I think that it is worth it just because it lets your engine breathe better. You will also notice a big difference on air going to the engine

Probably a few at most. Don't expect too much. I did it on my RS mainly for appearance purposes and to clean things up a little.

it makes a difference...sure it doesnt add many ponies but i defienetly felt a big difference...helped throttle response alot actually and my dad drove it and was like "how in the hell did that filter make it run that much better??" he said he noticed a huge difference... oh yeah and if you keep the 2'' element you could easily run a 1'' TBI spacer...here they help to

Do the ultamate TBI, the AFPR, and the spacer and there will be a noticeable difference. all 3 with a catback and some tuning cut me nearly a second in the 1/4.

im considering going to a smaller element and running the spacer...im definetly gonna do the ultimate TBI mods until i need/can afford a holley unit...my dad is supposed to paint my car for graduation so maybe i could get a cowl hood and run a big spacer and keep the 3'' element...could even get a high rise intake probably also and run a holley carb to TBI adapter plate
