I failed CA smog today, here are the readings

2500 RPM
HC: 140 max, 39 measured
CO%: 1.00 max, .42 measured

IDLE RPM
HC: 120 max, 225 measured
CO%: 1.00 max, 2.12 measured

He said my car is probably running rich at idle, he said a new O2 sensor might help, so i went out and got a new Bosch sensor. Do you think that will help. I also have a new cap, rotor and coil (MSD) that i have been meaning to put on, it this a good time to install them? will it help. I was also thinking about finally making my pressure regulator functional and just lowering the fuel pressure. What should i do??/

id say if you go in running as lean as possible you would pass unless you failed miserably...here in WV we dont have to get sniffed...not yet anyways and if we do i mid as well burn my car...
