Sputtering and popping on acceleration
When I was accelerating in my RS today (305 TBI) there was a hesitation and sputtering sound followed by a "pop" (possibly backfire?)
It seemed to be running really rich and stumbling at idle, with RPMs hovering around 500.
I took off the intake and I looked at the injectors. Here's a video:
Is this too much gas for idle? It seems like a lot.
Do I need an injector/IAC rebuild?

Connect a scan tool.
What are the values for O2 sensor voltage, O2 crosscounts, coolant temp sensor, short- and long-term fuel trim, and MAP sensor?
A cylinder-balance test would be wonderful, too.

Okay I bought a code reader so I'll let you know when I get it. But just by looking at it, does there seem to be too much fuel being injected? It's dripping down the sides of the throttle body bore

Re: Sputtering and popping on acceleration
Usually popping and such is caused by running too lean, timing is off, or your valves aren't seating.
