Need help did a carb swap on a 92 camaro tbi 305.put a 97 350 carbureted motor in.hei dist.used the original intank pump ran a fuel presure regulator chocked it down to 7 psi with return line.car runs and drives but at a idle is when I lose fuel pressure.while driving the car it's fine for the most part.I put all new fuel system components in when it was tbi.dropped the tank put fuel pump,fuel pump strainer,fuel filter and relay car ran flawlesly.no clue on why I'm losing fuel any help would be apreciated!!

 

Does the pump prime for two seconds when the key is turned from "off" to "run"?

What is the oil pressure at hot idle?
