TPS help

1989 Camaro RS 305 standard

Ive been googling my butt off and using all different sorts of automotive sites to lookup the TPS for this car (just got it yesterday). It seems like maybe it has a TBI from a different chevy car/truck idk. Regardless im having issues that may be due to the TPS, im gonn attatch an image of the one on my vehicle, from everything googled its nothing like the others. The others are oval.

If you know the part number please let me know. If its from a different vehicle should it still work?

How about TESTING the TPS instead of just replacing it?

Connect a scan tool, watch the TPS voltage as you work the gas pedal.

Re: TPS help

@Schurkey I dont have the tool, however i planned on doing this with my multimeter since the previous owner spliced the wires and taped them shut... DONT WORRY imma fix that too and solder them and heat shrink them up.
