ok, i fully plan to put an LT1 cam in my 305TBI this summer, so i got a few questions... other than a pro-street muffler my car is completely stock... auto. What kind of improvement can I expect from say, the cam and an open element breather???.... headers will have to come later, cuz i'm flat broke and the cam is cheap so it comes first....
alright, another question: WIll this cam add a lope to my car? like the sound kind of lope, and how much, will it be noticeable? and what are the normal horse power and torque after an installation of the LT1 cam...

Correctly installing the LT1 cam should give you a broad increase of about 15 HP and 15-20 lb-ft of torque across the band. With other mods you'll notice an even greater increase, but with what you've got, you'll see about that, minimally.

The sound does make your idle more lopey, and it's much more noticeable with an aftermarket muffler. You'll easily be able to tell the difference.
