Some new pictures of my TBI'd machine

Open element installed with no spacer ring, just needed some pounding with a hammer to clear the IAC and TPS sensors, that's IT. Also notice the hood underbracing had to be cut. All this because I'm using the RPM intake with the 1" adpator plate!
The 2nd picture is of the old school heater hose setup. Notice no more heater valve switch crap. It's clean and works great! Instant heat, no need to turn the climate controls to heat/vent/defrost to get coolant to flow into the heatercore. Now it's always flowing and keeping me nice and toasty on demand.
The 3rd picture is my exhaust setup. I know I know... The bend is crap. What can I say, it was a day before inspection (didn't have a muffler) job that cost $18 for the pipe w/ bends and $30 for the muffler from Summit Racing. $8 for clamps and universal mount which I hacked up and that's what I get. Believe it or not but it flows very well and sounds just right for my taste.

54 views and only 1 reply...hmm...oh well.
The air cleaner is the Summit no name $15 piece drop base. For $15 I wasn't worried about banging the crap out of it to fit around the IAC and TPS. I'm just really glad the throttle linkage clears without any modifications! That was my main worry because last thing I wanted was to go down the road peg the throttle and have it get stuck open. I would have only a few seconds to turn the car off to save my life/engine.
I have yet to clean my engine bay so this spring will be nothing but detailing and working on my launch. 13.5's at 102 would be nice.

I've only told you about 20 times now that your car is cooler than a naked Eskimo sitting on top of his igloo at midnight.

One day, when I find the money, mine will be cooler than naked Eskimo sitting on top of his igloo at midnight drinkin' a grape Mr. Misty (my car's purple ).

BTW, please go to the post about the 670 Holley TB and answer my question.

Thanks,

The STB is the edelbrock carb/tbi 3 point. It's an awesome piece. I installed it when I did my subframe connectors (Alston). I felt the difference right away and more so than when I went to the larger sway bars, springs, wonderbar, and bilstiens. So definatly do the SFCs before anything else!

even without SFC's I felt the difference putting the STB on. Took me about a hour to install (dark and cold outside). I began doing onramps a tad faster than i used to, which is making me chew up my tires more. tehe
