Spectre 98689 Air Filter

Managed to get my hands on one. Discontinued from Spectre but a seller had 9 of them listed on Ebay. Fitting it to a pair of 9" x 4.5" scoops made of thick ABS plastic actually intended for saw dust collection mounted in the core support and 4" insulated dryer ducting that looks nearly like the OE GM ducting. Going on my 87 G20, but would make a heck of an intake for a modified TBI. I will be painting the lower sides to look closer to OE with a nice polished lid.

Just a little testing, high velocity fan probably generates a 20-25 mph wind speed. Filter was installed in the housing. Only using 1 of the 2 scoops as well.

Re: Spectre 98689 Air Filter

Ducting arrived today. Tested airflow again with the ducting laying around like spaghetti. When I install it, ducting will be shortened to the necessary lengths.
