What do you guys think about the Throttle Body coolant bypass mod that is in the technical articles?? I haven't really heard of that before and was wondering what you guys thought of it. Thanks.

i have a tbi... i didn't know that tbi didn't have that, thats why i asked... thanks...

 

TBI gets its heat from the heat riser off the exaust manifold.

 

TBI doesn't get it's heat from the exhaust pipe. That's for a different reason all together! The TPI have coolant going all the time into the TB while our heat pipe closes after the car warms up.
Both are stupid and need to be ripped out of the car.
