I'm swapping in a new engine and need to connect a few more wires. I don't remember exactly where they go. I'm using my existing TBI harness.

1) Where are the 2 connectors that go to the coil? In the Chiltons manual it says that one has a pink and a white wire and the other has a black and a pink wire. I found one that was independant from the harness and has a connector on each side; is the other one in the harness, and if so, which side?

2) Looking at the harness at the back of the engine, I can see 3 2-wire grounds. Do these attach on the back of the cylinder heads?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

well the wires should go on only one way, i cannot remember good but one goes on first and the other slids on top of the ohter one,

and yes those go into the back of the heads, along with a big braided wire that goes into your firewall,
