LT1 cam fit

will any year LT1 cam fit in my 89rs. like a 94 or 97. or is it just every year.

any year, they are hydralic roller cams just like ours, i have a 96 LT1 cam on its way

cool, will i need anything else. i know springs. what about lifters. if i can get them with the cam would that be better than using mine.

you can reuse your stock lifters because they take a long time to wear but you might want to think about changing the springs. I think when i do my swap in the summer im going to go with some Summit springs for about 50 bucks. Ill also probably change the timing chain and pushrods just because they dont cost too much and i might as well since theyre going to be off the engine anyways, hope this helps.

I think There may be a difference in the dowel pins after 94, but nothing a grinder can't fix.
