here's my question,
I have a 91 bird 305 tbi on which I removed out the catalytic converter, it still has the A.I.R. stuff on it and I want to know what result this creates. I need to get rid of the AIR system right? And in doing this how much do u all think I should pay someone to do it? I dont wanna get ripped off.

don't gut the cat. and the reason you ain't getting to many replies is because taking off the cat is illegal but I did it anyways. I would just cut it off the put in a piece of pipe. I got alot more torque.

Chances are that you won't find a shop that will remove ANY of your emissions equipment. They face a stiff fine for doing that, since it's a federal offense.

You can remove the smog pump and all the air stuff in about 20 min. I would type all this out again, but I've covered it several times
... email me if you have any questions, do a search, or check out "smog pump delete" in the tech articles.
