timing on tbi..

ok .. advancing my timing to 8 btdc ... is that going to make more bottom end or top end? I'm running at 0 right now as per edelbrock t'ill engine brocken in then they said to run it at 8btdc.. how much power/troque difference would this make?

thanks

excuse my computer ignorance, I see the ttt all the time and have no idea what it means. As far as the timeing, I bumped mine up to 8 btdc. I don't believe there's any hp difference noticeable, but the engine feels much stronger from idle to about 3500rpm. the only thing I found is that I had to burn at least midgrade (89) gas or the engine pings a lot. Or 87 with octane booster. For a free mod I think it's worth it.
