I was considering performing this job on my own TBI unit. I just want to know from those who have performed the task themselves, if it's worth it? How much of an increase in performance can I expect to gain? Right now my engine is pretty much stock, but in the future would like to add a cam, exhaust and maybe intake and heads after that.

it helps a lot and is very easy if you take your time. you will feel a little bit more top end, one guy i did one for had similar 1/8 times and mph but picked up a full mph through the 1/4 traps. once you get other mods on the car that can take advantage of the extra air it helps even more.
